In the summer of 2018 and in the winter of 2019, Aqua Vision performed bathymetric surveys of the drinking water reservoir De Lange Vlieter owned by the “Waterleiding Maatschappij Limburg (WML)”.

The reservoir consists of two basins. The aim was mapping of the entire reservoir floor with a special focus on sludge layer thickness measurements. The bathymetric mapping was carried out with a multi-beam, while the sludge layer thickness measurements were performed using a “dual-frequency” echo sounder (Kongsberg).
