In February 2017 Aqua Vision conducted a demonstration of the new Q-boat 1800RP by Teledyne RD Instruments. This demo involved the measurement of the bathymetry and of the tidal induced discharge of the Zwin nature reserve. The main channel in the area branches off into smaller creeks, via which the seawater spreads through the nature reserve. The radio controlled Q-boat proved to be very suitable for easy measuring of both the main channel and the smaller creeks.
