Aqua Vision was asked by the contractor of a dike reinforcement project to carry out bathymetry measurements in the shallow zone near the banks of the (to be) constructed bank protection. Both before and after the construction a survey was required.

Ideally suited for this type of measurements is our Teledyne Oceanscience Z-Boat, integrated with Teledyne Odom MB1 Multibeam Echo Sounder, motion sensor and RTK-GPS system. With a draft of only 10 cm and remotely operated, area covering depth data could practically be acquired up to the bank of waterway.
