Aqua Vision has signed a contract with the Belgium Ministry of Mobilization and Public Works (Agentschap voor Maritieme Dienstverlening en Kust, afdeling Kust) to develop a Current Atlas for the Belgium continental shelf (Dutch: Belgisch Continentaal Plat). Aqua Vision will produce the current atlas based on 1) long-term available ADCP measurements, 2) new ADCP surveys 3) numerical flow modeling. The end product will be a printed chart version and a 3D software version of the BCP Current Atlas. With the 3D software version it is able to navigated and zoom through the entire BCP area in 3D and view current vectors, at any time window and at any level in the water column.
