Aqua Vision has recently assisted in the deployment of moorings off the coast of Bangladesh. Four moorings, each mounted with a Sentinel V ADCP and OBS-3A CTD, were deployed. A power plant will be constructed near the Bangladeshi coast. The realization of this plan requires that the main access channel be dredged to accommodate deep draught vessels. The ADCP data collected by the moorings will be used for the calibration and validation of models simulating currents, waves and sediment transport in this access channel.
