As part of a feasibility/vessel mooring study, Aqua Vision has been measuring current velocities profiles (magnitude and direction) for 60 days at the Strait of Gibraltar, using a self-contained Teledyne RDI ADCP mounted on a bottom frame at 35m water depth. The ADCP was deployed with a Benthos POP UP buoy for successful recovery of the frame after the period.
